Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating Press Breaks, Sheers, Punch Press, and industrial saws to cut and form sheet metal. This role involves setting up and adjusting machines as required by product plans and production schedules, ensuring the availability of raw materials, measuring and aligning materials, inspecting finished pieces for quality compliance, and performing routine maintenance on machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate Press Breaks, Sheers, Punch Press, and industrial saws to cut and form sheet metal.

• Repair, set up, and adjust machines as required by product plans and production schedules.

• Ensure sufficient raw materials are available for production.

• Measure and align materials to be used in the fabrication process.

• Inspect products and evaluate finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of operating experience with metal fabrication machinery.

• Proficiency in operating Press Breaks, Sheers, Punch Press, and industrial saws.

• Ability to read and work off blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication.

• Knowledge of grinding and laser cutting techniques.

• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled fabrication shop. The hours are 5:30 AM to 4 PM Monday through Thursday, and 5:30 AM to 10 AM on Fridays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hugo, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00
