    Preschool Instructional Paraprofessional
    Conway Public School District

    Qualifications:
    1. Associate degree in early childhood education/development or child development associate (CDA) credential or Associate degree in another area and the approval of a Staff Qualification Plan (SQP)
    2. Strong interpersonal skills
    3. Ability to work collaboratively with others in grade level, school, and District teams
    4. Experience working with preschool children preferred

    Preschool coordinator

    Terms of Employment:

    The contract length will be 185 days.

    Evaluation:

    Based on local district policy and Arkansas Department of Education guidelines, and performed by the preschool coordinator assisted by the preschool lead teacher in regard to evaluations.

    Job Goal:

    The Preschool Instructional Paraprofessional will endeavor to assist the preschool lead teacher in teaching and educating students according to standards for the state of Arkansas as promulgated by the Arkansas Department of Education or other accrediting body.

    Performance Responsibilities:
    1. Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
    2. Assist lead teacher in carrying out daily classroom schedule.
    3. Assist lead teacher with observations to enter in to the Work Sampling System.
    4. Completes annually a minimum of thirty (30) hours of professional development in early childhood education.
    5. Fill the role of the lead teacher in their absence.
    6. Other duties, as assigned.
