    Power Plant Operator - Mankato, MN

    This is a full-time, hourly position.

    Starting Wage $33.78-39.08 per hour plus $2 shift differential for all hours depending on level of experience and license held.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Applicant must possess basic math, science, and problem-solving skills

    • Applicant must be able to work in all types of climates both inside and out including extreme hot and cold temperatures, noisy environments, heights, dusty environments, all of which require use of Personal Protective Equipment

    • Applicant must be able to stand for long periods, work in confined spaces and have good physical dexterity, i.e., bend, kneel, climb steps and ladders, and lift 50 Lbs

    • With training, the applicant must be able to operate heavy equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, and skid-steers

    • Attendance and punctuality are required including some mandatory overtime

    • All employees are subject to random drug screens

    • Applicant must have the ability to work independently in an organized safe manner

    • Applicants must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

    • Computer basics (Microsoft Office Suite, Maximo)

    Key roles:

    • Focus on safety, quality, and integrity

    • Shift operation (procedures) and equipment checks

    • 4 Boilers, 1 Turbine Generator

    • Water treatment - Reverses Osmosis, Ion Exchange

    • Generate accurate legible documentation and log records

    • Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance of equipment

    Preferred Experience:

    • Requires MN 1A Boiler License

    ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
