Job Description

The employee will be operating the single and double power pallet, reach forklift, and sit down counterbalance for order picking and shipping & receiving. RF experience is required, and the ability to lift 40lbs consistently is essential. Candidates only need power pallet experience as training on sit-downs and reach forklifts will be provided. The warehouse operates in a cooler environment (1-4 degrees Celsius), and warm clothing is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate single and double power pallet.

• Operate reach forklift and sit down counterbalance.

• Perform order picking and shipping & receiving.

• Utilize RF scanner for inventory management.

• Lift 40lbs consistently.

Essential Skills

• 6 months of Double Power Pallet experience.

• RF experience.

• Warehouse experience.

• Ability to lift 40lbs consistently.

• Order picking experience.

• Shipping and receiving experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Raymond Reach.

• Sit-down counterbalance experience.

• Experience working in a cooler environment.

This is an opportunity to go full-time in a stable, union environment with excellent tenure among employees. Once full-time, pay increases every 6 months. The company offers training on sit-down and reach forklifts, and there are no performance metrics regarding speed. The products are easy to lift, and the work schedule includes four 10-hour shifts with three-day weekends.

Work Environment

The work environment is a cooler warehouse maintained at 1-4 degrees Celsius. Employees are required to wear warm clothing such as gloves, jackets, and tuques. The shift schedule is Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:30 PM to 6 AM, with four 10-hour shifts each week. The team consists of 15-20 warehouse staff.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, Alberta.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50

This is a fully onsite position in Calgary,AB.
