  • Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in Wealth Management and partner with the Business to provide a comprehensive service for Trading.

    As a Trading Services Associate in the Asset & Wealth Management line of business, you will be responsible for understanding trading structures to accurately capture all transactions, complete reconciliation checks, and ensure controls are performed. As a Trading Services Associate you will also solicit and champion the "voice of the user" in planning and design discussions with vendors and internal partners. While strategic thinking and coordination are important elements of this role, this individual will be required to take a tactical role with requirements, design, testing, and roll out and training with users.

    Job responsibilities

    • Develop a deep understanding of the portfolio management and trading processes and needs of the Financial Advisors and Trading Desks. Actively solicit and represent the "voice of the user."

    • Become proficient in all portfolio management and trading tools and train new Financial Advisor Teams and current employees on how to use the tools to be most efficient in managing client portfolios.

    • Identify knowledge gaps in the field and help develop training materials to address those gaps.

    • Contribute to the definition and development of the short/medium/long term roadmap for portfolio management and trading platforms.

    • As a Trading Services Associate, create sound business requirements, act as liaison with cross functional teams and vendors, provide oversight of deliverables, conduct usability testing, and manage product and deployments in partnership with the technology team and vendors.

    • Partner with Technology and vendors to execute against the roadmap including implementation of new platforms and enhancements to existing tools to meet evolving business needs.

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    • An understanding and experience with portfolio management and trading processes and tools

    • Familiarity with Linedata - Longview, Advent - Moxy, Envestnet - FolioDynamix, Tamarac, State Street - Charles River Development (CRD) Bloomberg and other such Portfolio Management applications.

    • Knowledge of the front to back Operations process (including the key elements such as confirmations, settlements, regulatory reporting) and facilitate issue resolution across teams

    • Understand the key elements of other infrastructure groups (i.e. Finance, Market risk, Credit risk, Operational risk, Legal, Collateral etc.) and recognize the impact of the actions of the Trade support team on these areas

    • Must have clear communication skills and an ability to use these to work collaboratively, explain, and challenge, as appropriate

    • Attention to details and sense of ownership

    • Great team player able to work in a pressurized and changing environment

    • Possess strong analytical and numerical skills

    • Strong problem-solving, control, and project management skills

    Work schedule

    • This hybrid role requires going into the office three days a week with two days' flexibility to work from home, subject to change
