Your mission: Should you choose to accept it…
The Springs Resort & Spa is seeking a skilled Pool Maintenance Tech to ensure our pools are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. In this role, you will maintain water quality, troubleshoot equipment, and perform regular pool cleanings. If you have experience with pool maintenance and enjoy working outdoors, this could be a great opportunity to join our team!
Where you can make an impact:
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, skimming, and brushing pool surfaces.
- Test and maintain water chemical balance, adjusting levels as needed to ensure guest safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, and heaters.
- Inspect pool area for safety hazards, repairing or reporting issues promptly.
- Maintain and clean pool decks and surrounding areas, ensuring a neat and safe environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to pool operations.
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance of pool equipment and systems.
- Monitor inventory of pool supplies and chemicals, notifying management when reordering is needed.
- Respond promptly to any pool-related service requests or issues.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, answering any pool-related questions or concerns.
What Sets You Apart: Education/Formal Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; pool maintenance certifications preferred.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in pool maintenance or related field.
- Experience in a hospitality or resort setting is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pool chemical testing and water treatment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment and systems.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations for pool maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Must be able to travel to The Springs Resort & Spa.

Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field required.
- At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Trade school and/or College course work in related field helpful.
Physical requirements:
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required. Must be able to work weekends & Holidays.
- Heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Work environment:
- Outdoor work requires exposure to weather elements that may be hot, cold, wet and dry conditions.
