  • Overview

    Fairview Health Services is seeking a Podiatrist/Foot & Ankle Surgeon to join our group of foot and ankle specialists. This position would cover outpatient practices in the south Twin Cities metro, while performing surgeries at M Health Fairview Ridges, M Health Fairview Southdale, and The Ridges Specialty Center Ambulatory Center. This individual will experience being in multi-specialty and primary care clinics. The practice is full spectrum podiatry with a wide variety of patients.

    Practice Details:

    • Join a team of 12 podiatrists

    • Patient encounters average of 24+ patients per day

    • 36 patient contact hours per week

    • Rooming support will be provided

    • RN phone triage support for clinic patients

    • Call Requirements : One weeknight a week and every fourth weekend at Southdale and Ridges Hospital

    • Opening: 1.0 FTE

    • Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) in clinics and hospitals

    M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital (~~~) provides outstanding care to the Twin Cities communities located south of the river. Conveniently located between two major highways and 15 minutes southwest of downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. Burnsville, Minnesota is located in the heart of the Minnesota Valley region of the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

    M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital , located in the city of Edina, Minnesota is conveniently located at the crossroads of several major highways in the growing and vibrant Southwest suburbs of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Less than 15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited Council of Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) residency training program

    • Board certified or eligible with the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery OR American Board of Podiatric Medicine

    • Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Podiatric Medicine licensure

    • Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
