    Job Description:

    Platform and Core Services Support - includes Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Virtual Desktop as a Service (VDaaS), storage, backup and recovery, cyber compliance, mainframe, specific mission and enterprise application support, configuration management, 24x7 monitoring and organizational messaging system support.

    System Administrators- Multiple Levels

    • Maintain platform services provided versions of the standard image security updates and policies to include technology enhancements, upgrades, applications and/or replacements and address security vulnerabilities

    • Provide 24x7x365 health monitoring of platform services, infrastructure, and applications

    • Provide a 24x7x365 monitoring of Platform Services Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Incident (INC) and Work Order (WO) (current naming conventions) ticket queues. Utilize the Government-provided Enterprise ITSM Suite to identify, track, respond to, manage, and close incidents and work orders.

    • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, build, test, install, remove, and reinstall Unclassified, Secret, Top Secret/Collateral and Platform Services servers

    • Provides enterprise backup and recovery services using a centrally managed system that provides the flexibility for customers to manage their own backups while using disk-to-disk-to-cloud solution with off-site replication

    • Provide administration and maintenance of the Microsoft Exchange Servers

    • Provide operations and maintenance to ensure the availability, performance, and security of all Mission Applications within the Platform Services application portfolio. Mission Applications within the portfolio include custom-developed, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS), and Government-Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) applications that provide above-standard services supporting specific Mission Partner

    Virtualization Administrators - Multiple Levels

    • Provide migration support for the re-location of on-premises server infrastructure to a future state environment as required and provide life cycle management and support of the JSP-managed server environment, inclusive of O&M, decommission, software and operating system upgrades, platform migrations to new server hardware platforms and cloud hosting environments, server rationalization, and disaster recovery.

    • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, build, test, install, remove, and reinstall servers

    • Support the various hardware, the hyper-converged infrastructure appliances, and software-defined storage

    VDI Administrators

    • Provide 24x7x365 Tier III system administrative functions to the Core Service VDI or DaaS solutions

    • Provide system administrative functions to include hosting environment, planning, analysis, troubleshooting, integration, installation, O&M, and administrative services

    Storage Administrators - Multiple Levels

    • Provide system administrative functions to include hosting environment, planning, analysis, troubleshooting, integration, installation, O&M, and administrative services (including documentation and presentations)

    • Provide enterprise data storage, data storage transport and infrastructure for Command and Control (C2), Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Continuity of Business (COB) data requirements as well as local only data storage.

    The likely salary range for this position is $60,549 - $101,109. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
