    *Compensation range: $100 - $105/hour

    Responsibilities:

    Overview of Position

    Direct experience in preventative, curative, and chronic care to individuals

    from pediatric to adult age (all ages) and with early stages of illness to chronic disease and supervision. Ability to provide care for the patient's age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial well-being. Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs. 

    Ability to comfortably perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), overview reads of EKGs and X-rays

    Essential Job Functions

    • Performing physical exams and patient observations.

    • Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.

    • Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.

    • Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.

    • Monitoring and operating medical equipment.

    • Diagnosing health issues.

    • Administering medicine and other treatments.

    • Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed.

    • Consulting with healthcare professionals and families.

    • Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.

    Qualifications:

    Requirements:

    • Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in OR (or the ability to obtain)

    • OR DEA licensure (or the ability to obtain)

    • Minimum two years of experience preferred, but will consider all candidates who meet other listed requirements

    • Current ACLS,BLS,PALS,and other speciality specific certifications as required
