    We are looking for a Physician Assistant to care for our Primary & Urgent Care patients. Qualified candidates will demonstrate clinical competency by utilizing medical techniques and principles independently to offer care to a diverse set of patients. Qualified candidates will have strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills. This is a full-time role, requiring a daily commute to Hendersonville, and you will be further incentivized based on productivity and the level of high-quality care. The incentive pay is not conditional and will be paid out based on your monthly patient volume.

    The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, professional and eager to help Complete Health Partners change the way care is delivered and able to give that level of care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and patient with others and also be required to follow health and safety guidelines consistent with the policies, procedures, and standards of care at Complete Health Partners.

    Requirements:

    • Acquire and review patient histories, identifying abnormal conditions
    • Perform physical examinations and evaluate patients' symptoms to determine the best course of treatment
    • Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine
    • Monitor patients' progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries or other medical events
    • Document patients' medical information and maintains patient charts
    • Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options
    • Communicate regularly with other healthcare providers to ensure that all aspects of care are being addressed
    • Perform data entry tasks to document patient records within facility databases and maintaining patient files
    • Participate in continuing education to continually improve skills and abilities and stay abreast of current technologies/practices
    • Ensure compliance with legal issues including but not limited to patient confidentiality and risk management; ensures compliance with JCAHO, federal, state, and local regulations
    • Exhibit a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
    • Adjust to fluctuating peaks in patient flow, acuity, and other operational demands while maintaining quality
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Active Tennessee Physician Assistant License
    • One to three years' experience in Urgent Care, ER, or Workers Comp setting or equivalent experience
    • Current CPR Certification
