  • Education/Experience:
    • Must be a graduate of and have a certificate from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program for Physical Therapist Assistant.
    Skills:
    • Must be able to apply the theory of Physical Therapy
    • Has the ability and competency to operate the equipment of his or her position and perform technical procedures
    • Demonstrates excellent customer service
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in fast paced environment
    • Strong problem solving, problem prevention and decision making skills
    • Ability to convey empathy
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to maintain composure and restore calm in a stressful situation
    • Uses good judgment and diplomacy when dealing with others
    • Desire and ability to work in a team environment
    Essential Functions:
    • Help develop and maintain a corporate culture that supports the mission and values of Mayfield Clinic.
    • Assist in determination of proper procedures and methods and assist in evaluation of the results.
    • Ensure the physician prescription is carried out after evaluation by Physical Therapist
    • Prepare patients and equipment for treatment
    • Must be able to instill confidence in patients, doctors, and personnel.
    • Protect and maintain confidential patient information in accordance with HIPPA guidelines
    • Must make decisions on his or her own; adapt to emergency situations; alert to changes in the patient's condition; alert to all activities of the facility
