    Job Description:

    Evaluates, plans, treats, and implements care for patients in accordance with professional standards of the American Association of Physical Therapy using Clinical Practice Guidelines, and policies and procedures of Essentia Health.

    Education Qualifications:

    • This is primarily an outpatient physical therapy position with a monthly Saturday rotation in inpatient care within the Deer River Hospital

    • There is a $5000 bonus for this position

    • The comprehensive rehab team includes experienced physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists and speech therapists who work closely together

    • The rehab team cares for patients across the lifespan with this position focusing primarily on adults with orthopedic and neurological conditions

    • Provide coverage as part of a weekend call and holiday call rotation in Deer River

    • Essentia Health provides a Career Ladder for therapists to advance in their career

    • Moving expense reimbursement available

    • This position is open to students in their final year of training, they can receive a monthly stipend for a maximum of 12 months before the official start date
