  • Job Title: Phlebotomist II

    Job Description

    The main function of a Phlebotomist II is to assist in performing various assigned duties, troubleshooting, training, and making workflow recommendations. They will be responsible for blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data, decontamination, updating patient information, and more. They will also need to understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations, attend annual department trainings, answer telephone calls, and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.

    Hard Skills

    • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

    • Valid Phlebotomy certification

    • Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • 2-4 years of experience

    Job Type

    This is a Contract-to-Hire position with an initial duration of 3 Month(s).

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in Port Orange, Florida.

    Work Environment

    Regular working hours will be from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
