  • Job Title: Phlebotomist

    Job Description

    The Phlebotomist's primary role is to provide expertise in blood draws and specimen preparation. You will be responsible for putting patients at ease, obtaining sufficient samples with minimal discomfort, and maintaining a high standard of care. Key duties will include blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data, decontamination, updating patient information, and more. You will also be expected to understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations, and wear appropriate attire including all PPE. This role requires strong attendance, as you will be the only phlebotomist on site.

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in Chesterfield, Virginia.

    Work Environment

    This is a part time role with standard hours per week of 22.50hrs. You will be working from Monday to Friday (8:30am - 1pm). You must be comfortable and confident in your abilities as there is no backup phlebotomist on site. Good bedside manners are essential.
