  • Job Title: Phlebotomist (Bronx Float)

    Job Description

    Seeking an experienced Phlebotomist with a minimum of 3 years of recent phlebotomy experience. The successful candidate will be proficient with straight needles and must be comfortable performing venipunctures independently from day one. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, collecting and storing specimens according to established procedures, explaining the collection process to patients, and ensuring the integrity of specimens by adhering to proper handling procedures. A car is required to float across various locations in the Bronx.

    Must Have

    • 3 or more years of experience working as a phlebotomist

    • Straight needle proficiency

    • Venipuncture proficiency

    • Specimen handling

    • Labeling and centrifuging specimens

    • Reliable form of transportation (own vehicle)

    • Punctual

    • Strong communication skills

    Schedule

    Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

    Work Site

    Float position in the Bronx. The phlebotomist will be responsible for floating to various locations in Bronx as needed.

    Work Environment

    This is a float position based in the Bronx. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. All tolls, parking, and mileage between stops will be reimbursed.
