    Responsibilities:

    RiverView Health has an opening for a full-time (64 hours every 2 weeks) Pharmacy Technician. The Pharmacy Technician shall be supervised by the Director of Pharmacy and Staff Pharmacists. RiverView was voted the one of the best places to work 6 times in a row. Come see why!

    The Pharmacy Technician position provides individuals with an opportunity to work in a

    Primary Responsibilities

    RiverView Health operates an inpatient hospital pharmacy and a retail pharmacy. Duties include

    inputting prescriptions into the computer, preparing, and processing medications for final check by a Pharmacist, IV preparation, inpatient dosage preparation, medication distribution, and much more.

    Other Responsibilities

    Inventory management, quality Improvement, medication recalls.

    Salary scale for Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician is $17.62 - $24.68 and for Certified Pharmacy Technician is $21.05 - $29.47 and starting salary is dependent on experience. Sign on bonus available!

    Qualifications:

    • Applicants must be18 years old.

    • High School graduate or equivalent is required.

    • Registration with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy and PTCB Certification are required. If not currently registered/certified these must be obtained. If not currently certified training will be provided and certifications must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
