Are you ready to make a real impact in patient care? We're looking for a dynamic Meds-to-Beds Pharmacy Extern to join our vibrant Outpatient Transitions of Care team! If you're passionate about helping patients transition smoothly from hospital to home, this is the opportunity for you!

What You'll Do

• Support Emergency Department Requests and Hospital Discharges: Be a vital part of our team by assisting with requests and ensuring seamless hospital discharges on weekends and holidays.

• Deliver Medications: Bring essential medications directly to patients discharging from the hospital, ensuring they have everything they need for a smooth recovery.

• Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside our highly skilled nurses, providers, and case managers to provide top-notch patient care and support.

• Engage with Patients: Perform technician duties while also consulting with patients, offering guidance and support as they navigate their medication regimens.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited college of pharmacy

• Valid Idaho Pharmacy intern/extern license

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
