    Job Description:

    Supports the daily operations and activities of the Essentia Health Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Program. This position is responsible for the maintenance and promotion of the clinical pharmacy program. Accountabilities include patient recruiting, program coordination, evaluation, and utilization. This position works with many cross-functional teams and supports projects to promote and align department goals with Essentia Health initiatives and maintains awareness and helps to assess the viability of the existing program.

    Work Experience

    1 year of office experience required and experience in support of pharmacy services preferred.

    Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

    This position supports Essentia Health Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Services. The primary responsibility of this position is the scheduling of Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy visits. Visits are coordinated through multiple mechanisms which include but are not limited to: Provider referrals, Health Plan registries, Third Party Platform registries, and report work. Excellent communication skills are vital as patient outreach and acceptance is necessary. Other responsibilities may include: audit control, billing support, monthly reporting, meeting attendance, schedule maintenance and other duties as assigned.
