  • Oversees the nightly operation of the pharmacy. Ensures the safe and effective use of medications by providing optimal drug product selection dosage regimen design effective administration drug therapy monitoring services and supervision of the medication dispensing process in the Medical Center.

    • Oversees nightly pharmacy operations.

    • Demonstrates proficiency in Pharmacy distributive services.

    • Maintains a role providing clinical pharmaceutical care to patients.

    • Provides drug information to customers inside and outside of the Medical

    • Practices pharmacy in accordance with regulations.

    • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned

    Position Compensation Range: $109,116.80 - $174,595.20 Annual

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Education: Bachelor's Degree required

    Experience: No experience required

    Licensure: Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Job requires standing for prolonged periods. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull < 20lbs. May be exposed to chemicals.
