Essential Functions
- Designs, builds and maintains performance reporting processes used to ensure updated business results are available throughout the year.
- Collaborates with external business partners and internal team members to obtain performance data and information, keeping all reporting tools updated throughout the year.
- Coordinates with business contacts to ensure timely submission of complete and accurate information, taking proactive steps to resolve issues encountered.
- Streamlines data collection routines used for metrics, minimizing manual processes and duplicative work.
- Creates and maintains appropriate documentation for performance metrics and reporting processes to enable cross-training and business continuity.
- Prepares supporting analysis, reports and/or presentations for improvement initiatives, regulatory data/information requests, support for operational decision making, and the annual planning processes.
- Conducts research to identify best practices and performance comparisons, involving utilization of existing external benchmarking resources.
Qualifications
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
- Ability to design, build, analyze and interpret data models (relational tables or databases) used in the measurement and explanation of business performance.
- Advanced conceptual and analytical capabilities, including experience with Excel, Power BI & other reporting tools, as well as work with IT system extracts to build and modify reports, analytics and databases.
- Detail orientation to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with internal and external parties of varying levels.
- Demonstrated self-directed work ethic and abilities, capable of taking lead on action items or initiatives.
- Ability to recognize and work with sensitive and confidential information.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Three (3) plus years related experience.
- Prior experience in data handling and business process/performance analysis is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $82,000 - $91,000 plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.
