    Responsibilities

    The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine within the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine is seeking a new Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our practice!

    Division of Pediatric Pulmonology

    The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology (~~~) provides inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonary specialty care to children with highly complex medical and surgical problems, including children with asthma, aerodigestive disorders, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, bronchiecstasis, chronic and congenital lung disorders, cystic fibrosis (CF), obstructive and restrictive lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension, and children who are ventilator dependent.

    Through the comprehensive, growing multi-specialty practice at the Mayo Clinic Children's Center, division members provide diagnostic bronchoscopies and have access to the resources of a substantial medical complex (i.e. pulmonary function testing interpretation, cystic fibrosis sweat testing). The department also has a pediatric residency program.

    Qualifications

    The Division seeks an additional member with complementary clinical and research expertise in areas such as lung function testing, exercise laryngoscopy and/or pulmonary hypertension. Candidates must be board certified / board eligible with the American Board of Pediatrics and be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Minnesota. Candidates should possess excellent clinical and teaching skills, and experience in basic, clinical, or translational research. Applications should include a cover letter and a full CV/Bibliography.

    Compensation Detail

    The minimum starting salary for medical specialties may range from $194,250 to $616,000. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
