Position Summary
Analyze and process complex, high liability employee payroll, benefit, tax, payroll funding, payroll reconciliation, and/or job record transactions. Provide peer quality assurance audits, training, and reviews within and between applicable payroll transactions, systems, vendor files and processes, upholding regulatory compliance. Continuously monitor data integrity within the HR and time collection systems, and modify existing processes as needed to meet changing requirements. Ensure payroll and/or benefit processing is accurate, timely and in compliance with company policies and/or program provisions and applicable laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with multiple bargaining agreements, Federal/State/local tax regulations and Company policies. Support cross-functional teams and various business areas on payroll and system related projects, interfaces, upgrades and enhancements.
Essential Responsibilities
Update and maintain employee payroll, benefit, tax, and/or job record information within Workday and UKG in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure the electronic documentation of the process and maintain updates in the team SharePoint site.
Provide advanced problem solving and research on transaction-related discrepancies, issues, and audit findings, and communicate results to appropriate persons. Update or coordinate employee job record, payroll, benefit, pension, and/or other employment and personal information within the applicable HR systems in a timely and accurate manner. Develop and provide modified process documentation and training as needed.
Support the HR Service Center team, timekeepers, and cross-functional teams on various payroll and system related projects, interfaces, upgrades and enhancements. Provide training, reporting, creating processes and procedures, researching issues, reconciling data with other systems, and lead special projects. Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with the Company's policies, multiple bargaining agreements and tax regulations.
Work closely with vendors, HR Business Consultants, Compensation, Workforce Relations, timekeepers, and managers to ascertain the accuracy of the data submitted and reconcile differences when applicable. Maintains a high level of confidentiality through understanding privacy laws, company policy and legal and ethical requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialized subject matter within HR, payroll or benefits.
Demonstrated knowledge of privacy laws and applicable benefits and payroll regulations.
Advanced skills/experience in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word and MS Excel are required.
Experience in payroll and HR systems and benefit applications is strongly preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, deliver a high level of accuracy and possess excellent time management skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers including executives, and demonstrate strong relationship building skills.

Non-Bargaining
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour
