Payroll Oracle Certified Consultant

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Systems Consultant in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, located in Bloomington, Minnesota. This role focuses on enhancing our payroll operations by leveraging technology to streamline business processes, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leverage technology to streamline business processes in payroll operations

• Manage software releases and introduce new functionalities

• Optimize the configuration, maintenance, and use of integrated payroll systems like Oracle Cloud HCM, myTime (Time & Attendance/Staff Scheduling), and ADP

• Ensure effective data management, reporting, and administration through these systems

• Collaborate with Human Resource teams, IT, and Data Operations to maintain current system functionality and implement new features

• Participate in Sprint teams and complete tasks associated with the selected sprint backlog

• Respond to escalated Service Now tickets with reported issues, questions, and tasks, and find solutions

• Create reports, conduct analysis/presentation of targeted data to facilitate decision making relative to HR or Finance processes, products, and services

• Develop and maintain process/system documentation, work standards, tip sheets, training related to HR/payroll systems and supported processes

• Foster strong partnerships with HR, Payroll, IT Enterprise Systems, ERP Operations and Data Operations

• Stay updated on new product features/functionality and actively seek opportunities to improve processes by leveraging the system(s)

• Follow data integrity and security standards to ensure confidentiality of private HR/payroll data and communicate security issues and concerns to leadership

• Complete auditing and multistate quarter and year-end tax balancing and filing. Requirements - Minimum of 10 years of detail oriented experience in Payroll Systems Consulting, preferably within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industries.

• Demonstrated expertise in Auditing, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of payroll systems.

• Strong background in Consulting, with the ability to provide effective solutions tailored to the organization's needs.

• Proficient in Payroll Management, with a focus on streamlining processes and improving efficiency.

• Extensive experience with Oracle HCM, including its implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization.

• Familiarity with Time and Attendance systems, including monitoring, recording, and reporting functions.

• Proven ability in HRIS reporting, with the ability to generate, analyze, and present complex payroll data.
