Payroll Manager

Description

We are looking to add a Payroll Manager to our growing team located in Plymouth, New Hampshire. As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full cycle of payroll processes for approximately 750 employees across multiple states. Our business operates round-the-clock, with three shifts for payroll and uses different systems that go through Paycore. You will be collaborating closely with six HR coordinators situated at various locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full payroll cycle for multi-state employees

• Collaborate closely with HR coordinators across multiple sites

• Ensure accurate record-keeping of gross wages, cash advances, company paybacks, and accruals

• Set up and manage tax details related to payroll

• Develop and maintain specific reports as required by the Controller

• Use advanced Excel skills to create and maintain spreadsheets and reports

• Learn and adapt to new software systems for efficient payroll processing

• Establish and maintain relationships with HR coordinators who assist in various tasks related to the role

• Monitor and audit accounting and benefits functions as they relate to payroll

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Payroll Manager role or similar position

• Proficient understanding of Accounting Functions

• Demonstrated skills in Auditing

• Experience with Benefit Functions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Familiarity with Paycore software is a plus
