Payroll Clerk

Description

We are offering a contract for a Payroll Clerk position in St. Cloud, Minnesota. This role, within the construction industry, involves handling accounting functions, managing accounts payable, and overseeing payroll. The successful candidate will also be expected to leverage their ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning skills to streamline operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate processing of union and non-union payroll on a weekly basis.

• Provide necessary support to the Accounts Payable department, acting as a reliable backup when needed.

• Utilize ERP systems effectively to manage and organize workflows.

• Maintain precise records of payroll for all employees.

• Respond promptly and appropriately to any payroll-related inquiries.

• Monitor all payroll activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

• Actively participate in software training, specifically Payroll4Construction, as necessary.

• Implement accounting functions effectively to support company operations.

Requirements - Prior experience as a Payroll Clerk for a minimum of 2 years

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Solid background in handling Payroll

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Ability to handle confidential information discretely

• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is preferred
