Payroll Clerk

Description

Are you detail-oriented, highly motivated, and eager to learn? Our client in Clifton Park, NY is looking for someone just like you to join their dynamic team as their new Payroll Clerk.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the bi-weekly payroll process, including monitoring time clock punches and processing time off requests.

• Accurately verify timesheets, calculate necessary deductions, and update employee information in both the payroll system and spreadsheets.

• Handle the entry and maintenance of I9 information in the binder.

• Prepare and enter Payroll Journal Entries into QuickBooks.

• Organize and prepare monthly bills along with annual 1094 and 1095 forms.

Requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• At least 2 years of office experience (payroll experience is a plus).

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• A positive attitude and willingness to undergo training for the right candidate.
