Payroll / Benefits Administrator

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll / Benefits Administrator to join our team located in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. In this role, you will be tasked with managing payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and acting as an internal expert for our payroll software. This role is pivotal in the efficient processing of customer applications and the maintenance of customer records.

Responsibilities

• Independently process weekly payroll for all internal employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

• Conduct regular audits of payroll data, including but not limited to rate changes, deductions, adjustments, and new hires.

• Handle the automated timesheet process on the Paylocity system for each pay period, and liaise with the management and Human Resources team when necessary.

• Confirm the accuracy of received payroll before distribution to employees.

• Provide guidance and assistance to employees on the use of Paylocity's payroll software.

• Oversee the review and distribution of W-2's by Paylocity at the end of each year.

• Keep secure and accurate records of employee payroll files for prompt and precise payroll reporting.

• Assist in the creation and implementation of payroll-related procedures and policies.

• Process leaves of absence and terminations in accordance with state laws.

• Assist employees in making changes to tax forms, without offering personal tax advice.

• Manage changes to employee records as requested.

• Evaluate and respond to employee change requests for all entities in Paylocity on a weekly basis. Requirements

• Ability to handle Full Cycle Payroll

• Experience in managing Multi-state Payroll

• Ability to manage Weekly Payroll

• Proficiency in using Paylocity software

• Expertise in Benefits Administration

• Experience in managing Open Enrollment
