Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 for NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, located in Flushing, New York. NewYork-Presbyterian is a community teaching hospital serving residents of Queens and metro New York. The 535-bed tertiary care facility provides services in 14 clinical departments and numerous subspecialties, with 15,000 surgeries, 4,000 infant deliveries, and 124,000 emergency service visits each year.

The Patient Services Manager 2 at this location will oversee all PSM operations, the "At Your Request" room service programand lead a team of approximately 60 client staff in a strong union environment.The main goal of this role is to enhance patient experience within the department. The hours for this role are generally Mon.- Fri. 5:00am-1:30pm, rotating weekends (1 per month). (Hours may vary to support needs of the business).

What You'll Do

The successful candidate will

• evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction;

• oversee Sodexo's Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery;

• collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience;

• perform tray assessments to ensure food quality and presentation and tray accuracy;

• exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits; and/or

• perform management functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
