    The opening is for a 1.0 FTE (80 hours/2 weeks) Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) at our Maplewood, MN clinic . The PSC will work interdepartmentally to provide care coordination for Prosthetic patients. This position is fully benefit eligible. Our benefits package include medical, dental, and vision coverage.     Responsibilities Job Description

    The prime responsibility for this role is to ensure an outstanding patient experience. You would achieve this by displaying effective customer service and problem solving in a friendly and thoughtful manner. Regular tasks the new member could expect to perform include scheduling and registration and maintaining records. In this role, you would interact closely with patients through phone communication, follow up after discharge, and assist with continued care coordination. Specific to our flex workforce, the PSC must be adaptable.

    The PSC-FWF will:

    • Travel to and provide care in multiple settings as assigned

    • Demonstrate personal flexibility to meet staffing and patient needs

    • Handle unanticipated changes throughout the day

    • Serve a variety of clinical populations

    • Complete assigned duties prior to transition to subsequent setting and/or establishes handoff for continuity of care

    Qualifications

    Excellent interpersonal and phone skills are required for this position. The self-direct individual who is detail oriented, digitally literate, and flexible will be well-suited for this responsibility. An appreciation for and ability to work with persons of all age levels is highly valued. Preferred qualifications for the PSC include completion of a Vocational/Technical Training program and scheduling experience.
