  • Description

    • Handle Spanish and English patient equipment repair phone calls requesting repair or service of equipment. Process orders, schedule visits, process equipment to send out for repairs, and track various orders and returns.

    • Basic trouble shooting of Pap machines

    • Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company and all applicable insurance guidelines respecting eligibility for coverage and reimbursement.

    • Responsible for entering data in an accurate manner, into database including although not limited to payer, authorization requirements, coverage limitations and status of any requalification

    • Collaborates with physician offices, sales and support staff to ensure timely receipt of documentation as well as educating, as necessary.

    • Identify trends and providing feedback and education to internal and external customers on compliant documentation requirements for services provided.

    • Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA

    Qualifications

    2+ years Customer service in a call center setting

    1+ year healthcare related experience in a call center environment

    1+ year Bilingual Spanish call center experience

    Microsoft Suite (1+ year)

    Plus haves

    • Medical equipment (DME) industry experience

    Hours

    M-F 8:30am - 5pm

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00
