  • Summary

    Under limited supervision, unload and receive incoming goods, equipment, raw materials and items such as production equipment and returned goods. Will unpack and/or personally deliver items to proper destination. Will pack parts, receive them, and stock them in location. May be required to construct crates and skids required to pack larger product or pack in bulk.

    Essential Job Duties

    • Receive, unpack, verify count, and correctness of received materials.

    • Route or personally deliver to proper destinations. Detect and report faulty or incorrect material to proper supervisor.

    • Construct boxes and crates and pallets from written or verbal instructions, drawings, or sketches as needed. Ensure product is adequately packed to arrive at customer's location on time without damage.

    • Perform cycle counts as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy.

    • Perform simple and routine maintenance of machines and equipment in the work area.

    • Maintain a clean and neat work area. Instruct, train and verify the work of others.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications -

    • High School diploma preferred

    • Basic math skills and computer literacy required

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of those knowledge, skills and abilities commonly associated with this position.

    • Critical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

    • Ability to develop and maintain positive and productive business relationships.

    Work Environment -

    • General factory conditions. Exposed to moderate noise levels.

    • The typical schedule is weekdays 8:30 am - 5:00

    • Must be able to don PPE including safety shoes, or glasses where required in the on-site manufacturing areas.

    Physical Abilities -

    • Required to use close vision and be able to focus.

    • Regularly required to talk and hear; frequently required to sit, stand and bend at the knee and waist, and walk.

    • Must be able to have repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement to type and work on computer.

    • Must have finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination to work on computer, telephone, and related office equipment.

    • Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
