    This position is in Cargill's agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.

    The Warehouse Coordinator activities supporting the maintenance organization through inventory control of consumable and repairable material, receive inventory, build, and disseminate kits, and be accountable for tools and mobile equipment. The Parts Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring that inventory is controlled, logged and auditable. This person also ensures equipment, tools, and parts are available for both planned and unplanned maintenance work to increase technician wrench time and efficiencies. This position interacts with operators, maintenance, finance, CSSP and other facility personnel on a regular basis.

    Principal Accountabilities:

    • Maintains an organized storeroom, with proper inventory levels, bin locations for MRO inventory that is ready for issue (RFI). Physically receives incoming inventory to the site. Ensure that inventory stock, and safety stock values are accurate. Accountable for cycle counts according to criticality (A, B, C, D) are completed and differences understood. Understand, lead and monitor stores leading storage practices for parts. Work with suppliers to align with these leading practices. Ensure inventory is stored in ready state to allow placement directly from inventory to functioning in the plant. Responsible introducing new materials into the system through the CRUD process

    • Request re-order of parts to maintain determined inventory levels. Manage local suppliers for vendor managed inventory.

    • Responsible for tools and mobile equipment within the shop inventory. Track and manage check in/out system, repairs, calibration, and preventative maintenance through equipment contractor. Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, and test in CMMS system and accountable for performance and efficiency against schedule. Communicate policies within tools/mobile equipment governance during day-to-day tasking with technicians and contractors.

    • Responsible for building and distributing job kits detailed by the Maintenance Planner. Utilization job plan details to determine tools and parts necessary. Responsible for supplying MRO to production and maintenance while maintaining stock within SAP (MIGO).

    • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations and attend various safety and department meetings

    • Maintain an organized storeroom with a high regard for storage requirements for materials held in inventory

    • Inspect incoming materials to ensure that the quantity and quality of the material received is aligned with the PO

    • Ensure all EHS directives are followed in the storeroom area

    • Communicate in a courteous and positive manner to accomplish duties effectively, working as a team with all involved

    • Assist other plant personnel as needed, and perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance and Reliability Leader

    • Operate Forklift and other mobile equipment as needed

    • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications:

    • Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada

    • Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old

    • Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment

    • Ability to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)

    • High School diploma or Equivalent

    • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

    • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

    • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.

    • Basic use of a computer and typing skills

    • Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.

    • Working knowledge of inventory systems

    • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advanced notice.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience operating forklift

    • Prior experience in production related work

    • 3 years of inventory warehouse management experience
