Job Description

The parts associate will work alongside the inventory specialist to organize and sort through all parts in the parts room, ensuring the production floor has everything needed to perform properly. Will be operating the counter balance forklift to complete the necessary work as well in the facility.

Responsibilities

• Organize and sort through all parts in the parts room.

• Ensure the production floor has all necessary parts to perform efficiently.

• Pick, stock, and pack parts as required.

• Perform data entry tasks related to parts inventory.

• Conduct cycle counts and general labor tasks.

• Work with inventory control systems to maintain accurate records.

Essential Skills

• Experience picking parts.

• 1+ years of experience in stocking and keeping inventory.

• Experience working with Excel.

• Counterbalance forklift experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years working in a parts room.

• Customer service experience.

• High school diploma.

• Experience with inventory control systems.

Work Environment

You will work in the parts room for work trucks, controlling all parts coming in and out. This position involves working closely with one other person in a back room setting. Standard shift hours are from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with a shorter shift from 7 AM to 2:30 PM on Fridays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, Ontario. The location is not transit accessible.
