Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Full-time
Reports to: Chief Partnership Officer
Job Summary: The Partnership Development Associate is responsible for generating new business development and sales leads through disciplined and persistent outbound phone, email, and LinkedIn contact; maintaining accurate and updated facility data and contact information in Salesforce; maintaining accurate outbound communication logs in Salesforce; and providing timely and reliable support to Chief Partnership Officer and other members of the executive team as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Proactively prospect to hospitals nationwide to generate sales leads, schedule calls, and collect and record data necessary to identify and target sales prospects for marketing and outreach
- Follow a sales process workflow to include routine scheduled calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to identify and engage key sales prospect personas to establish relationships of trust and raise brand awareness
- Using company message guidance, produce tailored messaging (specific to territory, facility type, persona, etc.) adaptable to email templates, call scripts, social media messaging, etc
- Maintain opportunity pipeline in Salesforce (create new opportunities, upload client files, manage opportunity stages, close dates, and other data points and milestones)
- Collect needed information to price projects, create proposals, respond to RFPs, and secure client commitment
- Collaborate with Chief Partnership Officer, Partnership Development Managers, and Operations/Recruiting leadership to successfully onboard new programs
- Meet or exceed goals for call volume as well as for monthly and annual qualified leads
- Assist in coordination and participation in industry conferences and trade shows (travel expectation-up to approximately 10%)
- Demonstrate and maintain a proficient understanding of all service lines
- Review trade journals, periodicals, internet, media, etc. on a regular basis to identify/stay abreast of industry trends/changes
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment and may work in a remote environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. Mountain and Central time zone home base location is a plus.
Requirements:
Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (healthcare degree or healthcare industry experience preferred)
- Proven track record of achieving goals and quotas on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to communicate/work effectively and professionally with upper-level executives, both internal and external
- Ability to communicate off-script to effectively generate/capture leads, as appropriate
- Proficient and prompt word processing and internet browser research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Definitive CRM, or related CRM experience
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and urgent atmosphere
- Ability to plan and prioritize work activities with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain dependable internet and phone communication from a remote location, responding in a timely manner to requests for service and assistance
- Goal expectations: 4 qualified calls* per month; 8 qualified contracts per year.
Compensation details: 28.85-28.85 Hourly Wage
