Position : R&D Partner Technologist, Product Development

Previous experience: Architecting, design and development of commercial software either individually or a combination of an on-prem, Web or Cloud, using .Net. Ideally 5-8 years of recent experience on developing AI capabilities in these products would be desired.

Location: Lake Forest, US - Hybrid

The job

As part of our global AI development group, you'll be a thought leader, collaborate with stakeholders and customers to understand and define product strategy. You will help further develop the company's AI strategy and drive infusion of AI into our product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute significantly towards the company's AI strategy and/or define product strategy.

• Collaborate with stakeholders be it architects, domain experts and customers to understand and refine goals and opportunities.

• Evaluate technologies and approaches for AI in AVEVA, algorithm development, train models.

• Designing and rapid prototyping frameworks, reusable components aimed at bringing innovative and intuitive AI capabilities into our AVEVA solutions.

• You may also work on products which could be a mix of on-prem, SaaS, desktop based or web/mobile app.

• Delivering a performant and secure product/service will require you to evaluate the updates made and their impact on the base architecture and design.

Ideal experience

• You are generally an AI enthusiast, good a math and problem solving.

• Hands-on development experience on AI & Machine Learning with good knowledge of basic statistical and mathematical concepts.

• Model evaluation, working with large data sets for experiments over multiple models.

• Hyper-parameter tuning, model generalization.

• Understand or have worked in Industrial Automation.

• Proven experience of product and/or Systems Integration.

• You have a demonstrated experience with distributed systems/cloud computing on a commercial scale.

• Understand or have worked on newer technologies like Docker/Kubernetes etc.

Great skills to have

• Visionary & Passionate: You should be able to see the future of AIML and it's role in solving real-world problems and bring the drive to fulfil it's potential in making a positive impact on the world.

• Communicative: You should be able to communicate your ideas clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences. You are comfortable at evangelizing AI/ML.

Salary Range:

$179,000.00 - $298,400.00

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.
