Part-Time Night Security Agent

Overview

Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors by patrolling/monitoring company interest.

Part-time Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00pm-12:00am

Hourly Rate: $23.00-$25.00

Responsibilities

1. Observe, detect, and report any suspicious activities, criminal acts, or company policy infractions.

2. Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) of property.

3. Monitor access and control CCTV and alarm systems.

4. Respond in a timely manner to all incidents to include medical emergencies, accidents, and alarms by following emergency response procedures in accordance with company policies.

5. Investigate and write reports on all incidents and accidents.

6. Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in security

• Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software

• Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills

• Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines

• Analytic and Reporting skills

• Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license

• Surveillance skills

• CPR/AED certified

• Proprietary systems knowledge, Cisco systems, or equivalent.

• Safety management

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone
