    We are in search of a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Human Resources Coordinator role will focus on coordinating various administrative tasks within the human resources department. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the staff lounge, coordinating departmental scheduling, and supporting the creation of Humar Resources communications. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and maintain the staff lounge including the daily setup of coffee service and management of lounge communication board

    • Handle Human Resources inquiries and direct them to the appropriate team member

    • Coordinate departmental scheduling and manage meetings with internal and external staff members

    • Attend meetings and take minutes as requested

    • Assist in creating, designing, and maintaining the company's HR online presence

    • Collaborate with the Human Resources Program Coordinator to create and disseminate staff announcements

    • Develop and promote a monthly Human Resources newsletter and interactive forms and surveys

    • Support the Director and Program Coordinator in the planning and execution of events and programs including catering, event setup, and logistics management.

    Requirements

    • Possess a minimum of one year experience in a similar role or related field

    • Proficient in Administrative Assistance tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence management

    • Familiarity with Human Resources (HR) Administration duties including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and policy implementation

    • Skilled in Calendar Management including scheduling meetings, arranging appointments, and coordinating team events

    • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential

    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

    • Proficient in the use of standard office software such as Microsoft Office Suite

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
