We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal located in Norfolk, Virginia. Our client is a prestigious litigation law firm - the firm specializes in complex litigation cases before state and federal cases.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex litigation cases and manage court filings effectively

• Conduct thorough document review and draft pleadings with precision

• Manage the e-Discovery and e-Filing processes efficiently

• Prepare for trial by gathering and organizing necessary materials

• Utilize PACER system for litigation and court case follow-ups

• Perform cite check and Shepardizing to ensure accuracy of legal references

• Ensure proofreading and Blue Book citation methods are followed in all legal documents

• Handle discovery tasks and manage legal documentation efficiently.

Requirements

• MUST have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Paralegal role, ideally complex litigation

• Proficiency in Litigation Paralegal tasks

• Expertise in e-Discovery and e-Filing processes

• Familiarity with Court Filing procedures

• Knowledge of Civil Court operations and Court Cases handling

• Experience with Court Filings and using PACER system

• Ability to Draft Pleadings accurately and efficiently

• Familiarity with Blue Book citation guide

• Proficiency in Cite Check - Shepardize

• Experience in Shepardizing for case law verification
