Paralegal

Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Paralegal. As a Paralegal, your role will encompass a diverse range of tasks in the field of litigation support, including e-filing, depositions, legal writing, and drafting motions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the e-filing system to ensure all legal documents are organized

• Provide litigation support by assisting in the preparation of cases

• Participate in depositions by keeping records and transcribing the proceedings

• Utilize your legal writing skills to draft and review legal documents and correspondence

• Assist in the drafting of motions to facilitate the legal process

• Communicate effectively with clients and legal teams to resolve inquiries and offer support

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is necessary for document management

• Strong communication skills are required for effective interactions with clients and team members

• Previous experience in a law firm or similar setting would be advantageous

• Knowledge of legal research tools and databases is desirable

• Must have a keen eye for details to ensure accuracy in document preparation and review

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently

• Familiarity with legal terminologies and procedures is essential

• High ethical standards are expected

• Problem-solving skills are necessary to address client issues effectively

• A proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated with changes in laws and regulations.
