Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our client located in BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Michigan. In this role, you will primarily focus on data privacy, litigation, and e-discovery. You will also be required to utilize your skills in Microsoft Excel. This opening offers an exciting opportunity for those who have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the legal field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize data privacy-related records and files

• Assist in various stages of litigation processes

• Conduct e-discovery, including the identification, collection, and production of electronically stored information

• Use Microsoft Excel to create and maintain complex reports and databases

• Collaborate with the legal team to manage and resolve customer inquiries

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on the status of the account

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Develop and implement Excel formulas to streamline data processing tasks

• Stay updated with the latest developments in data privacy, e-discovery, and litigation

Requirements - Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal role

• Proficient in Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel

• Have a strong understanding of Data Privacy regulations and principles

• Able to conduct legal research and draft legal documents

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities

• Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field

• Previous experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is a plus

• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Willingness to continue learning and improving legal knowledge.
