Job Description

Our Client contracts with partners to distribute and repackage different parts used for various types of agriculture equipment including combines and tractors. We are seeking assistance at our supplemental Rock Island location with orders! We are looking for 2 employees for the 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Sort boxes and place them in the correct pick pallet for the forklift operators.

• Pick and pack products which range in size, including items that can be held in hand to thousand-pound machine parts using a lift.

• Utilize an RF scanner.

• Load and unload semi-trailers with completed pallets.

Essential Skills

• 6 months of warehouse experience.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Able to work mandatory overtime.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in packing, production, packaging, inventory management, general labor, warehouse inventory, labeling, picking, and palletizing.

• Experience using an RF scanner, loading, material handling, order picking, assembly, and shipping.

Work Environment

The facility is a large parts distribution center with a variety of products and forklifts. The environment is inclusive, with a mix of people from different backgrounds and experiences working towards a common goal of quality. The facility is open, and the culture is focused on quality and attention to detail. Candidate performance will be measured by quality standards, not productivity. One mix-up can result in a product being shipped overseas to the wrong facility. The 1st shift hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some expected overtime. The 2nd shift hours are from 4 pm to 1 or 2 am, depending on workload.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00
