    Calling all Makers and Innovators

    As an innovative, high growth company, Starbucks is dependent on a world class Research and Development organization. Starbucks co-op participants will support packaging challenges across food and beverage with emphasis on solutions to enhance productivity in our stores and overall sustainability. Role can include research of technology, lab testing, structural packaging design, and working directly with store partners to enable innovation in our stores.

    About the Starbucks Summer Internship Program: **  **

    The Starbucks Internship Program is paid, full time, 12 week program (June  - August 2025), designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience in a field of interest and expertise within the Starbucks Industrial Engineering team. Roles will be based out of the Seattle Support Center in Seattle, WA.

    Some things for you to tackle include: **  **

    • Collaborate with cross functional team members including product development, equipment engineering, store design, sourcing, and others to define problems and develop concepts.

    • Work in a fast-paced environment to explore ideas and deliver novel solutions to complex problems.

    • Design and execute experiments and analyze and interpret data to make sound technical recommendations on packaging and sustainability issues.

    • Participate in quality/packaging improvement and productivity initiatives.

    We'd love to hear from humble, hungry, and agile students with:

    • A drive for results, a desire to learn and competence in quickly building relationships

    • Capability to simplify complex issues and define new ways to move forward

    • Demonstrated ability to make significant technical scientific advances using internal/external resources

    • Experience creating DoE , affinity with lab testing equipment and statistical knowledge

    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

    Internship Program Qualifications: **      **

    • Active enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree  

    • Preference for Packaging Science / Engineering majors

    • Recommended (but not required) minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0  

    • Ability to work full time from June - early September 2025

    • Eligibility to work in the United States
