P21 Application Support Analyst

Description

We are in the process of recruiting an Application Support Engineer to join a remote team with offices headquartered in Pewaukee, WI. The role involves managing application support tickets, troubleshooting user errors, and providing primary support to our P21 application. This position is a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Administering support tickets, ensuring quick resolution and minimal disruption to operations.

• Independently handling common issues related to the P21 application.

• Serving as the initial point of contact for the P21 development team, escalating complex issues when necessary.

• Efficiently managing and resolving print/formatting errors.

• Maintaining the smooth operation of the P21 system.

• Familiarizing yourself with middleware servers and supporting the administration of P21.

• Applying Cisco Technologies, Backup Technologies, and computer hardware skills.

• Performing configuration management and application tuning.

• Ensuring application maintenance and implementing Prophet 21.

Requirements - Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is crucial for effective performance in this role.

• Strong understanding and experience with Backup Technologies is required.

• Familiarity with Computer Hardware is necessary for the position.

• Knowledge in Configuration Management is essential.

• Experience with Prophet 21 software is a significant advantage.

• The candidate must possess strong skills in Application Support.

• The ability to conduct Application Tuning is expected for this role.

• Experience in Application maintenance is a requirement.
