Job Description

This role is part of the Cash Allocations team and is responsible for processing all customer receipts accurately and within the agreed timelines. Based in Lawrenceville, the successful candidate should be experienced in the Cash Allocations process in a Finance Operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

Summary of the role:

The Cash Allocation Analyst will be responsible for accurately and efficiently managing the allocation of incoming payments to customer accounts. This role involves working closely with internal teams, customers, and financial systems to ensure the timely and accurate application of payments to customer invoices. The Cash Allocation Analyst will play a key role in maintaining the company's cash flow by ensuring accurate financial transactions and reconciliations.

What I Will Be Doing

Your role involves processing payments in SAP across multiple companies and currencies, ensuring timely and accurate application of incoming payments, including checks, wires, credit cards, and ACH/EFT transfers. You'll reconcile accounts, maintain daily cash logs, and resolve unallocated or unidentified payments. Managing adjustments to customer accounts, preparing bank deposits, and handling chargebacks will also be part of your responsibilities.

You'll collaborate with the accounts receivable and billing teams to ensure proper payment applications and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Responding to customer inquiries about invoices, payments, and account issues will require strong communication skills. Monthly tasks include preparing reconciliations for lockbox clearing accounts, reviewing customer statements, and generating reports such as AR aging and cash-related metrics.

Additionally, you'll support accurate financial reporting by performing detailed cash reconciliations and identifying trends or discrepancies. You'll also work closely with internal teams to improve payment processes, ensure compliance with established procedures, and maintain confidentiality in all activities.

What We Are Looking For

We're looking for a detail-oriented, team player with at least 2 years of SAP cash application experience. You should be able to multitask, meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong organisational skills. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a willingness to learn and adapt.
