    Job Description:

    General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking to fill a Management Consultant who will function as an Organization Change Management (OCM) Manager to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) with their Electronic Health Records modernization efforts.

    As a Federal Health Management Consultant dedicated to the IHS EHR contract to serve as an OCM Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring projects meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. You will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. You will have hands-on project responsibilities on both IHS program delivery and GDIT Federal Health Management Consulting practice growth.

    HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

    • Develop and maintain the OCM strategy to maximize partner and stakeholder adoption and minimize resistance

    • Creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize adoption and usage and minimize resistance.

    • Applying a structured methodology (e.g., process, tools, and templates) in leading organization change management activities to create a strategy in concurrence with government direction and the OCM contractor to support adoption. Collaborating with other stakeholders on key change management components: Stakeholder Analysis, Change Impact Assessment, Change readiness, Organizational Change management plan, and Adoption/Sustainment plan.

    • Coordinating and partnering with the program communications and stakeholder leads to develop a communications plan tailored for specific stakeholder audiences leveraging appropriate channels necessary to affect change.

    • Work closely with project/program team to integrate OCM activities into project plans

    • Support the development of change impact assessment to identify potential challenges and barrier points

    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of OCM strategies and make necessary adjustments

    • Collaborate with leadership to support OCM initiatives

    • Support with facilitation of program workshops to gather feedback to address concerns

    • Support the development of stakeholder adoption and sustainment plan

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

    • 5+ years of years of relevant OCM strategy experience in relevant Health/IT consulting industry

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or related field

    • Relevant OCM certifications such as Prosci, CCMP or others

    • Broad knowledge of management consulting with an authentic and clear vision of what makes YOU a successful consultant

    • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.

    WHAT WOULD BE EVEN BETTER:

    • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools

    • Proven experience as an OCM Strategist or in a similar role

    • Experience supporting electronic health record modernization in federal health

    • Knowledge of the Indian Health Service, Department of Veterans Affairs and/ or Department of Defense environment

    The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $112,413. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
