Responsibilities
The Applications Solution Engineer (Sales Consultant) is responsible for the development and delivery of outstanding Oracle applications sales presentations and demonstrations focused on the Financials areas of Oracle Cloud ERP. You will:
Serve as the functional expert in applications sales activities to prospective clients and customers while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Act as a functional resource and mentor for less experienced Applications Sales Consultants.
Focus on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.
Lead any and all aspects of the functional sales process.
Take a role on account, solution or industry teams, where required:
Advise internal and external clients on overall solutions architecture.
Develop and maintain knowledge on competitive offerings
Provide linkage and feedback to product development teams on future product development
Be able to respond to RFP's, conduct discovery, prepare, and deliver demonstrations to prospective clients as well as potentially to our strategic customer base.
Collaborate with all surrounding sales support teams to facilitate our selling cycles.
Create and maintain relationships with key product partners like Product Marketing, Development, Strategy, Partners, etc.
Participating in strategic account planning
Contributing to the generation and maintenance of relevant Oracle Financials value propositions
Educating customers and Partner Organizations in Oracle Financials Cloud solutions and value propositions
Sharing Oracle's Marketing messages in the definition of product solutions
Building and maintaining long-standing relationships with the customers both during and after the bid process
Contributing to customer success and reference-ability.
5-7 + years of business experience in Accounting or Finance with relevant Financials and Accounting enterprise level software applications.
the ability to demonstrate the newest and most advanced product features and maintain an in-depth knowledge of competitors.
strong project management skills.
excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques
the ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
the ability to travel as needed.
A BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent; CPA and/or advanced degree are highly desirable
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be providing presales technical/functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal direction. Acts as a functional and product expertise resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present presentations and demos of Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

US: Hiring Range: from $30.29 to $76.49 per hour; from $63,000 to $159,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
