Job Title: Mortgage Loan Closer

About Us: Our organization is expanding, and we're in search of a Mortgage Loan Closer to join our dynamic and professional team.

Job Description: We are in need of a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Loan Closer to prepare and verify closing documents during the completion of real estate transactions. As a Mortgage Loan Closer, you will work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to ensure the deal is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule loan closings.

• Thoroughly review and confirm all loan details, including insurance information, title checks, etc.

• Prepare closing documents and final funding figures.

• Collaborate with third party vendors including title, escrow, and insurance companies.

• Liaise with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to resolve any discrepancies prior to closing.

• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and laws.

• Address and rectify post-closing issues swiftly and professionally.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years' experience in loan processing or closing.

• In-depth knowledge of loan closing procedures and documentation.

• Familiarity with lending products and services.

• Excellent organization and project management skills.

• Strong numeric skills and financial acumen.

• Proficiency in loan origination software and platforms.

Requirements - Proficient in data entry tasks, both alphanumeric and numeric

• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with mortgage lending processes and support tasks

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management

• Strong communication skills for effective interactions with clients and team members

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Proven problem-solving capabilities

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Understanding of regulatory standards in the mortgage industry

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
