  • ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences is seeking an Operations Research/Data Analyst with experience utilizing SAS to support the US Coast Guard BOD ALC (Aviation Logistics Cener) and their mission to keep aircraft maintained and services so those serving in the USCG can keep our country safe. The Aviation Logistics Center's mission includes Depot Level Maintenance, Engineering, Supply, Procurement and Information Services.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize SAS to formulate and apply of mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assist management with decision making, policy formulation & other managerial functions.

    • Assist with developing models and forecasts for DCMS (Deputy Command for Mission Support) to determine mission support costs to include maintenance, repair, sparing, warehousing, labor hours, transportation & other relevant economic drivers.

    • Develop business case analysis with stated forecasting variables and sensitivity analysis to provide DCMS different courses of actions for mission support and sustainment decisions.

    • Maintain working knowledge of modeling and forecasting methodologies, software, and programming languages used in Industry to provides recommendations for improvement to current models, forecasts, and tools.

    • Establish project timelines, monitor work completion, and utilize effective communication.

    • Four (4) years current experience in operations research or related field that includes proficiency with SAS, AND a BA/BS degree in one of the following: Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, OR Six (6) years current experience in operations research or related field with any BA/BS degree. We can also accept 8 (eight years of experience in lieu of a degree.

    • Proficiency with SAS is required for this role .

    • Experience in modeling and forecasting to support analytics and reporting for a production environment.

    • Experience with data sourcing, data integration and data quality projects; experience creating dashboards.

    • US Citizenship is required for this position and the ability to obtain an EOD (Entry on Duty) from Dept of Homeland Security.
