    Job Description

    Seeking a proactive and dedicated Operations Manager to oversee all site production operations in the manufacutring plant here in York, PA. This role involves direct and delegated coordination of activities to assure safety, quality, delivery, and cost meet specified targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cost effectively, determining weekly staffing requirements, and deploying resources as necessary to meet shifting needs. This position requires a hands-on approach, working primarily on day shifts but also being on call for safety emergencies and available for off shifts for projects or training as needed.

    Work Environment

    The role covers all 3 shifts in a 24/7 operation, primarily working day shift from 6 AM to 4 PM, but requires flexibility to overlap shifts and be on call for emergencies. The Operations Manager will directly oversee 6 supervisors and an overall headcount of 230 employees across all shifts.

    Skills

    • Previous Manufacturing/Production Leadership experience

    • Experience in analyzing and creating reports

    • Experience in holding staffing meetings and maintaining efficient schedules

    • Strong leadership and team development skills

    • Flexibility and ability to work across different shifts
