Operations Manager

Description

Additional Responsibilities include

• Maintain and analyze key metrics; improve performance measures through use and interpretation of continuous improvement tools.

• Continuously develop and maintain high standards of product handling quality to ensure customer and Company quality and efficiency standards are met.

• Direct and coordinate various programs essential to operational procedures (training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, quality, associate involvement, security, etc.) to supervisors and associates.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field or equivalent work experience is required

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a distribution center environment managing a significant segment of the distribution center is required.

• Lean/Six Sigma basic certification preferred.

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WSM) is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in making sound business decisions that successfully drive business initiatives.

• Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations is required.
